Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck Maggie Bruce is located off the coast of Caister-on-Sea in the North Sea at coordinates 52 38.676 N, 1 46.106 E. Originally reported as an obstruction near Caister Church and marked by a green can light buoy, the wreck was later dispersed to a depth of 43 feet before the buoy was withdrawn. Subsequent hydrographic surveys and searches conducted by HMS Fitzroy, HMS Echo, and multibeam sonar surveys in 2017 failed to locate any trace of the obstruction, leading authorities to remove the wreck from navigational charts as it is no longer extant.
