Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck known as LUKE JOHN is located at the coordinates 51 34.227 N, 3 57.005 W, situated off the coast of Swansea in the Bristol Channel. Historical survey records indicate that while a possible sonar contact was initially identified at a depth of 5 meters in November 1991, subsequent reports from the Swansea MRCC confirmed that the wreck was removed in December 1991. Modern multibeam survey data obtained by Titan Surveys Ltd in July 2018 verified that no obstruction remains at this location, resulting in no further action required for this site.
