The shipwreck of La Gondole is an underwater obstruction located at coordinates 47° 07.94' N, 002° 50.08' W in the Bay of Biscay, positioned approximately 14 nautical miles southeast of Belle-Île off the southern coast of Brittany, France. Hydrographic survey records detail that the vessel was reported sinking in these Atlantic waters in early April 1978, based on maritime incident reports from Bordeaux and Lloyd's List. Later assessments in September 1988 confirmed that the site was neither charted on French navigational chart 7067 nor listed in the French wreck registry, leading marine authorities to amend the charting status of La Gondole to dead.
