Simplified Wreck Survey
Underwater wreck site of the vessel possibly named KITTY located in the North Sea off the coast of St Abbs Head, Scotland. The wreck is positioned at coordinates 56 10.591 N, 01 31.695 W. Confirmed by DGPS survey, this historic shipwreck lies upright and intact on the seabed in a general depth of 53 meters. The vessel measures 45.2 meters in length and 11.3 meters in width, with a least depth over the wreck of 50.4 meters. The structure rises 2.6 meters from the seabed and is oriented on a 170/350 degree axis with the bows pointing south. A moderate magnetic anomaly has been recorded at the site, which also features a 1.8-meter deep scour extending 8 meters towards 175 degrees and a secondary patch of debris measuring 19 by 11 meters located 42 meters to the east.
