Wreck site KILKIS (POSSIBLY) located at coordinates 54 41.008 N, 1 2.099 W off the coast of North East England near the River Wear. This underwater obstruction was historically recorded as a non-dangerous wreck but subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in 1989 and 2016 failed to locate any structural debris, steel wreckage, or obstruction at this position. Following extensive multibeam sonar mapping, the wreck status for this location has been officially amended to dead as no maritime hazard remains at these coordinates.
