Underwater wreck site Kestiel located at coordinates 55 30.564 N, 6 1.46 W off the west coast of Scotland near the Hebrides. This underwater obstruction sits in general depths of 89 meters with a least echo sounder depth of 85 meters. The wreck structure measures approximately 4 meters in height and 25 meters in length, lying in a northeast to southwest orientation. Sonar traces suggest a rectangular profile for the vessel, which appears partially buried or broken. The site has been examined and shows no signs of scour. This maritime obstruction is officially recorded by the UK Hydrographic Office.
