BUILT IN 1929 BY HAWTHORN, LESLIE & CO. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY COOLHAM SS CO. TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 404NHP FPR 11 KNOTS. PASSAGE LIVERPOOL FOR MONTEVIDEO. TORPEDOED BY GERMAN SUBMARINE. THE ENTIRE CREW OF 38 WERE LOST. (DODS).
