UNDER TOW ON PASSAGE SINGAPORE FOR MADRAS FOR KARACHI TO BE SCRAPPED. SANK DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER & CURRENT CONDITIONS OFF NICOBAR ISLAND. CARGO INCLUDED PALM & COCONUT OIL IN DRUMS & CHEMICALS. ALL CREW SAFELY RESCUED. OWNERS DECLARED ABANDONMENT OF VESSEL. (MSD)
