HAD BEEN ANCHORED IN LAGOS ROADS, AWAITING A BERTH, SINCE 11.1.77 WHEN SHE WAS STRUCK BY GREEK S TANKER 'KATINA' ON 25.3.77. AS NO.1 HOLD FLOODED, SHE GROUNDED FOR'D AND SUBSEQUENTLY SANK ON 26.3.77 IN APPROX 30FT OF WATER, WITH DECKS AWASH AND LIST TO STBD AND BROKE HER BACK. (MSD).
