Underwater wreck report for the vessel JOURNEY located at coordinates 07 09.05 S, 112 40.43 E in the Java Sea near Indonesia. This maritime obstruction originated from a reported collision between the MV JOURNEY and MV LAMBELU on April 1, 2014. Following hydrographic review and official notices including NM 3458/14, the wreck position was established at 07 09.05 S, 112 40.43 E. Please note that later hydrographic surveys in 2016 indicated the wreck was not found at the charted location and its status is amended to dead. Navigation charts should reflect this underwater hazard data accordingly for mariners operating in the Indonesian maritime region.

BUILT IN 1995. PASSAGE FOR LEMBAR, W AFRICA. SANK FOLLWING COLLISION WITH M FERRY LAMBELU (14649 GT), POSSIBLY WHILE MANOEUVERING TO ANCHOR. CREW OF 17 RECOVERED.
