BUILT IN 1937 BY A STEPHEN & SONS. THREE DRUM BOILERS, TURBINE ENGINES OF 44000 SHP FOR 36.5KTS. 8 X 4.7 HA, 1 X 4.2PRD AA GUNS. 2 X 21 INCH TORPEDO TUBES. DAMAGED BY 88MM GUNFORE (LUFTWAFFE FLAK BATTERY) OFF TOBRUK. SANK WHILST UNDER TOW BY HMS ZULU. 15 OFFICERS & 260 SHIP'S COMPANY LOST. (DODS).
