HMS MAIDA shipwreck status and survey details for the obstruction located at coordinates 51 25.534 N, 1 45.061 E in the North Sea off the coast of England. Multiple hydrographic surveys conducted by the UK Hydrographic Office and private contractors between 1972 and 2018 have failed to locate the vessel. Surveys using DCS3, fisherman sonar, and magnetometers across the site in a known sandwave area yielded no sign of a wreck. Following an exhaustive multi-beam survey conducted in 2017-2018, the entry for HMS MAIDA has been amended to dead and no further action is recommended as the underwater obstruction could not be verified at these coordinates.
