VESSEL BUILT 1935 BY THORNYCROFT & CO LTD. TURBINE ENGINES. THREE DRUM BOILERS. TORPEDOED BY GERMAN E-BOAT NEAR KWINTE BUOY, WHILST ATTEMPTING TO PICK UP SURVIVORS FROM HMS WAKEFUL, WHICH ALSO HAD BEEN TORPEDOED, DURING THE EVACUATION OF ALLIED TROOPS FROM DUNKIRK. (DODS & R VERPOORTE).
