Simplified Wreck Survey

The wreck of the HMS Embrace is located off the coast of the Isle of Skye, near Ornsay, Scotland, at coordinates 57 9.05 N, 5 47.95 W. Officially recorded in the UK Hydrographic Office surveys, the vessel lies in shallow water with a general depth of 4 to 6 meters. Following a dive inspection conducted on March 26, 2005, the wreck was identified as being inverted, badly broken, and collapsed. The structural remnants include a visible propeller exposed at low water, and ammunition remains within the wreckage. The site is currently charted as an obstruction at these coordinates due to its structural condition.
