Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction and foul area located off the west coast of Scotland near the Inner Sound and Skye region, centered at coordinates 57 16.195 N, 5 48.355 W. This marine site historically featured an area of submerged wires and chains on the seabed, originally surveyed by HMSML Gleaner. Subsequent multibeam sonar surveys conducted in 2019 were unable to locate the obstruction, resulting in the status being amended to dead or removed from active hazard lists.
