SURVIVED BEING BOMBED BY AIRCRAFT IN ST GEORGE'S CHANNEL ON 10.8.40. TORPEDOED AND SUFFERED SUBMARINE GUNFIRE IN 542800N 263300W. LATER SHELLED AGAIN IN 533400N, 272848W AND ABANDONED WITH HER FOREDECK AWASH. 4 MEN LOST. (WW2 BR MSL & DODS & LLOYDS WAR LOSSES).
