The wreck of the Hardwick Hall is located in the Indian Ocean near Farquhar Island, northeast of Madagascar, at coordinates 10 14.65 S, 51 3.7 E. Historical survey records indicate this underwater obstruction was previously identified by the presence of two masts and one funnel. Although early hydrographic reports noted the wreck site near the Trois Iles and Goelette Island, subsequent surveys designated the wreck as expunged and officially cleared from nautical charts. This underwater site near Farquhar Island is currently recorded as removed from active maritime navigation records.
