THREE BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 627 NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE MIDDLESBROUGH AND LONDON FOR CALCUTTA ON GOVERNMENT SERVICE. STRUCK MINE LAID BY UC-3, BUT LATER BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN TORPEDOED. 19 LIVES LOST. (LLWW1, SIBI).
