Underwater wreck details for the steamship Girlanda, located off the coast of Copinsay in Scotland, at coordinates 58 52.975 N, 2 37.099 W. The historic shipwreck lies broken in two pieces in a general depth of 35 fathoms, carrying a cargo of coal. Originally reported in July 1982 approximately 1 mile south of Copinsay Lighthouse and 2 miles offshore, a 2007 multibeam survey by Netsurvey Ltd failed to locate the obstruction within a 2.5-mile radius, leading to its status being amended to dead.

GIVES POSN APPROX 585300N, 023700W. NCA. QUITE PROBABLY THE GIRALDA [SEE 1235]. 30.3.07 NOT LOCATED BY M/B WITHIN 2.5 MILE RADIUS. (NETSURVEY LTD, HI 1137). AMEND DEAD. NCA.
