Circumstances of loss
BUILT IN 1924 BY NORTH VANCOUVER SHIP REPAIRERS. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THE MINISTRY OF WAR TRANSPORT (W THOMSON & CO). TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 505NHP FOR 11 KNOTS. PASSAGE UNDER TOW OF TUGS SCHELDE AND PROSPERUS, GIBRALTAR FOR MILFORD HAVEN. ATTACKED BY AIRCRAFT AND SET ON FIRE. WAS ABANDONED AND SANK. (DODS, LL WW2. LIBERTY SHIPS).
