The shipwreck known as Foremost 49 is located at coordinates 51 36.144 N, 3 55.805 W in the Bristol Channel off the coast of Wales. Historically identified as a wreck site, the Foremost 49 was originally marked by navigational buoys following its loss in 1942. Official records from the UK Hydrographic Office indicate that the obstruction was reported as removed by 1944. Subsequent hydrographic survey data from September 2018 confirmed that no structural remains, such as wreckage or debris, were detected in the area via multibeam sonar datasets.
