Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Express is located at coordinates 53 18.02 N, 0 30.895 E in the River Humber area near the Inner Dowsing Buoy. Historical records from the Grimsby Loss List indicate the vessel sank approximately 2.5 miles southwest of the Inner Dowsing Buoy. Recent hydrographic surveys conducted in December 1993 and August 2020 by Oceanics UK Ltd and A-2-Sea Solutions Ltd failed to locate the wreck, resulting in a "No Carriage Area" or non-confirmation of the obstruction at the specified position.
