1.10.1977 BUILT 1958 BY NAMURA ZOSENSHO, OSAKA. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY TRIDENT BAY SHIPPING CO. LTD. ANCHORED IN BEDI ROADS, AWAITING LOADING OF CARGO OF SALT FOR BANGLADESH, WHEN FIRE BROKE OUT. ABANDONED BY CREW. FIRE EXTINGUISHED ON 1.10.1977 BY KANDLA PORT TUG. DECLARED A TOTAL LOSS & SOLD TO PAKISTANI BREAKERS. TOWED & ANCHORED OFF ROZI. ON 30.11.1977 ANOTHER FIRE BROKE OUT AND VESSEL DRIFTED. REFLOATING ATTEMPTS FAILED, SOLD TO BOMBAY SHIPBREAKERS AND DEMOLISHED WHERE SHE LAY. (MSD)
