GENERAL CARGO. SANK AFTER VIOLENT EXPLOSION FWD ON THE PORT SIDE WHIST AT ANCHOR IN A GALE WITH HEAVY SNOW SQUALLS. PROBABLY MINED. 27 MEN LOST.
