BUILT IN 1913 BY HAWTHORN, LESLIE & CO FOR THE BANK LINE. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THE ADMIRALTY AS OILER TRANSPORT NO 63. THREE BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 536HP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE FROM PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS. SHELLED BY U-17 AND STOPPED. CREW ABANDONED. LATER TORPEDOED AND FINALLY SUNK BY CHARGES. NO LIVES LOST. (SIBI).
