The shipwreck of the Dennis Brundrit is located off the coast of Centre Island in the Falkland Islands at coordinates 51 25.543 S, 58 18.7 W. Historical hydrographic records note that the vessel wrecked on Centre Island, initially reported in 1970 as a drying wreck on the southwest shore. Subsequent surveys by HMS Endurance detailed the structural remains of the wreck, showing only the stem, stern posts, and ribs remaining. Later reports from 1991 confirm that the vessel's timbers remain visible at all states of the tide. Additional positional data recorded for the obstruction includes coordinates near 51 25.32 S, 58 18.27 W.

SHE WAS REPAIRED ONLY TO BE WRECKED AFTER GROUNDING ON SW COAST OF CENTRE ISLAND, SALVADOR WATERS ON EITHER 7.5.1892 OR 20.7.1892. (FALKLAND ISLAND SHORES, PUBLISHED 1985).
