H2193/74 2.4.74 NOTHING FOUND DURING SURVEY. (HMS WOODLARK, ROS DTD 20.12.73). NCA. 13.9.96 WK IN 500030N, 051550W. CAN BE FOUND VERY CLOSE TO THE CHAIR, AND THE COVE SIDE OF MEN TE HEUL & PREDANNACK HEAD. REMAINS OF WRECK ARE JAMMED AGAINST AN ISOLATED ROCK APPROX 24MTRS OFF CLIFF FACE IN GEN DEPTH 11-14MTRS. BOILER & PLATING SHOWING ALONG WITH SCATTERED DEBRIS. (DIVER GUIDE TO SOUTH CORNWALL). DIVED ON 7.9.96 MUCH AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, MORE OF VESSEL EXPOSED BY RECENT SCOURING. FURTHER DETAILS TO FOLLOW. STRANDED SW OF MULLION ON 6.6.1918 IN FOG WHILST EN-ROUTE SWANSEA TO ROUEN. ABANDONED AFTER MUCH OF CARGO SALVAGED. (DIVER GUIDE TO SOUTH CORNWALL & CORNISH SHIPWRECKS).
