VESSEL, BUILT IN 1865 BY HARLAND & WOLFF, BELFAST AND OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY W. H. TINDALL, WAS WRECKED IN MULLION COVE, CORNWALL WHILST EN-ROUTE FROM SAMARANG TO FALMOUTH WITH CARGO OF SUGAR. STRUCK MERES LEDGES, ON WESTERN SIDE OF POLURRIAN COVE, BROACHED-TO IN HEAVY SEAS, BROKE IN TWO. 15 OF CREW DROWNED. (DODS, CORNISH SHIPWRECKS & SHIPWRECK INDEX OF THE BRITISH ISLES).
