Simplified Wreck Survey
The underwater wreck Danryan is located off the coast of Great Yarmouth in the UK at coordinates 52 27.403 N, 1 48.881 E. Sunk in November 1992, historical survey records indicate the vessel originally featured one mast and a forward wheelhouse. Subsequent hydrographic examinations in 1993 located the wreck with a least echo sounder depth of 18.4 meters in a general depth of 17 to 23 meters, noting a scour depth of 22 meters, a length of 10 meters, a width of 3 meters, and a height of 1.6 meters lying on a 015/195 degree orientation close to sandwaves. Later surveys in 1999 and 2016-2017 failed to locate the obstruction in multibeam datasets, leading to the wreck status being amended to dead.
