BUILT IN 1969 BY UJINA ZOSENSHO, HIROSHIMA. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY EASTERN PINE SHIPPING SA. PASSAGE LAHAD DATU, SABAH, FOR NAGOYA. TOOK WATER IN HEAVY WEATHER AND WAS ABANDONED. CREW RECOVERED. NOT LOCATED IN BY SUBSEQUENT SEARCH. AIRCRAFT SIGHTED BUBBLING OIL. PRESUMED TO HAVE SUNK. (MSD).
