The underwater wreck CRIN BLANC is located at coordinates 50 5.748 N, 0 41.183 E off the coast of France near Pointe d Ailly in the English Channel. Originally reported sunk in 1979, historical hydrographic surveys tracked the obstruction as it was charted at various depths greater than 20 meters of water. Survey records note that the wreck status was eventually amended to dead and expunged from official nautical charts in 1987.
