Simplified Wreck Survey

The concrete barge wreck of the Cretestreet is located underwater at coordinates 53 44.154 N, 0 15.543 W in the Humber estuary. Historical hydrographic records from the UK Hydrographic Office note that the site was previously charted with vertical red lights on a triangular black structure atop a sunken barge. Over the years, surveys by the British Transport Docks Board (BTDB) tracked the position and orientation of the stranded structure, lying east-southeast to west-northwest with bows facing west. By 1999, records indicate the wreck of the concrete barge was slated to be enveloped by new construction in the Humber ports area, and the status was amended to dead.
