Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck known as the Coomonderry is located at coordinates 23 40 S, 178 55 W, situated at the southern tip of North Minerva Reef in the South Pacific Ocean. Initially reported as stranded in 1969, the vessel was historically identified as a steel construction. Following subsequent hydrographic surveys and aerial photoplot analysis conducted in 1981 and 1994, the obstruction was officially classified as dead. The wreckage of the Coomonderry has been removed from nautical charts and is no longer considered a navigational hazard at these coordinates.
