Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck of the Clan Macmillan is an underwater obstruction located off the coast of Beachy Head and Newhaven in the English Channel at coordinates 50 42.833 N, 0 1 W. Historical hydrographic surveys from the UK Hydrographic Office note conflicting position reports, including mentions of a fisherman fastener reported in 1974. Subsequent intensive sonar and multibeam surveys by HMS Bulldog and Gardline Geosurvey failed to locate the wreck or any structural remains within the search radius, leading hydrographers to delete the record and amend its status to dead.
