Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck from World War 1 reported approximately 23 miles South West by South of Portland Bill. Search operations in 1990 and 2015 using echo sounders and magnetometers failed to locate the wreck at position 50 07.237 N, 02 33.877 W. It is considered that the wreck does not lie within the surveyed area.

HH090/496/01 9.8.90 NOT FOUND DURING BASIC AREA SEARCH USING E/S, DCS3, AND MAGNETOMETER. NOT COMPLETELY DISPROVED BUT CONSIDERED NOT TO LIE WITHIN THE SURVEYED AREA. RECOMMEND DELETE.
