The underwater wreck of the Charles Roger is located at coordinates 50 4.44 N, 1 38.68 W off the coast of the English Channel near the UK and French maritime borders. Originally recorded as sinking following reports from Cherbourg and Brest authorities, subsequent hydrographic surveys by the UK Hydrographic Office and French naval records evaluated the obstruction, noting a least depth of more than 20 meters before the wreck record was officially deleted and amended to dead following international navigational updates.
