The shipwreck CATHELEY H is a historically documented underwater obstruction located off the coast of Anguilla in the Caribbean Sea. While early maritime records identified the vessel at coordinates 18 12.662 N, 63 5.578 W with a reported clearance depth of 34 feet, a 2016 hydrographic survey conducted by the UK Hydrographic Office failed to locate the wreck at this position. Consequently, the CATHELEY H is classified as a dead or non-existent obstruction at these coordinates.

SEP 2017/000049747 13.6.17 NOT LOCATED IN M/B SURVEY 2016. (UKHO/CEFAS, HI 1532). AMEND DEAD.

Circumstances of loss

VESSEL HAD BEEN LYING, IN POOR CONDITION, FOR SOME YEARS IN ANGUILLA ROADS AND WAS TO HAVE BEEN SCUTTLED. CAUGHT FIRE DURING PREPARATIONS FOR THIS AND SANK. (LLOYDS VOL.295).
