BUILT 1903 IN ABERDEEN. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY JAMES DUTHIE OF PETERHEAD. VESSEL WAS EMPLOYED WITH REMOVING CARGO OF RECTIFIED SPIRIT FROM WRECK OF KATHLEEN ANNIE, WHEN SHE HAD A FIRE IN THE ENGINE ROOM, SEVERAL EXPLOSIONS OCCURRED AS THE FIRE SPREAD AND BUSY BEE SANK. ALL 30 PERSONS ON BOARD AT TIME ESCAPED WITHOUT LOSS OF LIFE. (K HEATH).
