BUILT IN 1957 BY SCHPS 'DE GIDEON' V/H J KOSTER HZN, GRONINGEN. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY HIGHSEAS LTD. PASSAGE BORDEAUX FOR TEIGNMOUTH. TOOK IN WATER AND LISTED DURING GALE FORCE WEATHER. LATER SANK AFTER HATCH COVERS LOOSENED AND TUG 'NOORD-HOLLAND' UNABLE TO SECURE A TOW. CREW RECOVERED BY HELICOPTER. (LL & MSD).
