BUILT IN 1922 BY NAKSKOV SKIBSVAERT. FORMERLY OF THE DANISH OSTASIATISKE KOMPAGNI'S FLEET, WHICH WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE UNITED BALTIC CORPORATION. AFTER THE GERMAN OCCUPATION OF DENMARK IN APRIL 1940, THE VESSEL SAILED UNDER THE BRITISH FLAG. WHEN IN CONVOY IN THE GULF OF SOLLUM, LIBYA, SHE WAS BOMBED AND SUNK BY AIRCRAFT. (DODS).
