The Binh Dinh River is a documented shipwreck site located in the southern South China Sea, north of the Natuna Islands, at coordinates 05°36.0'N, 108°05.0'E (5 36 N, 108 5 E). According to UK Hydrographic Office records and Lloyd's Casualty reports, the vessel was abandoned and last observed floating with a severe, heavy list on January 11, 2009. Subsequent survey entries from late January 2009 confirmed the abandoned vessel was drifting in these open waters before sinking, as no further sightings were reported. The submerged remains of the Binh Dinh River are recorded as an underwater obstruction on hydrographic charts in the South China Sea.
