Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater Obstruction and Wreck Summary at Coordinates 50 34.103 N, 0 39.19 W off the English Channel Coast. Historical records indicate a very small barge-like wreck was initially located in 1979 using Decca coordinates, lying on top of a ridge with a least echo sounder depth of 24.8 meters. However, subsequent modern hydrographic surveys conducted in October 2002 and August 2018 failed to locate the structure in multibeam datasets, leading authorities to officially disprove the wreck and amend its status to dead and foul.
