Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck obstruction located at 51 35.39 N, 1 3.531 E near the Maplin Sands and the Thames Estuary coast. This submerged navigation hazard consists of minor debris and structural remnants. Historical survey data indicates a least depth of 5.6 meters within a general depth of 6.7 meters. The obstruction has been monitored since 1953, with various hydrographic reports documenting a mast and scattered wreckage. Current status confirms minor debris standing approximately 1 meter high on the seabed. Mariners should exercise caution when navigating this coastal area of the Thames Estuary due to these documented underwater obstructions.
