1.10.75 OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY SKIPPER PETRUS VIVIERS. ONE CREWMAN REPORTED THAT VESSEL HAD BEEN PLAGUED WITH ENGINE TROUBLE SINCE LEAVING DURBAN & WAS DRIFTING BEFORE BEING HIT BY MASSIVE SPRING TIDAL WAVES OFF PORT DURNFORD, NATAL. WRECKAGE WAS STREWN 20KM ALONG THE BEACH. (LL, 1.10.75)
