Wreck Details for the ATRIA located near the Isles of Scilly coast. The underwater wreck ATRIA is officially designated as disproved and classified as dead following multiple hydrographic surveys. The wreck was originally associated with the coordinates 49 50.037 N, 5 5.062 W which were used for filing purposes only. Historical records from the UK Hydrographic Office note that the vessel was last known at 49 55.000 N, 05 07.000 W after an empty liferaft was recovered in 1979. Subsequent search efforts by HMS Bulldog in 1991 and Gardline in 2005 failed to locate any structural remains such as welded steel or well broken debris at the listed coordinates. As of the latest assessment, the ATRIA wreck is confirmed not located and has been removed from active navigation charts.
