PASSAGE FROM ISLE OF WIGHT ASSEMBLY POINT FOR NORMANDY LANDINGS. CARGO CASED PETROL. TORPEDOED BY E-BOAT, BURST INTO FLAMES AND EXPLODED. CREW OF 17 ALL LOST. (LL WW2 & SIBI).
