VESSEL, ON PASSAGE FROM MARSEILLES TO ALEXANDRIA, WITH MIXED CARGO INCLUDING CHEMICALS, PAPER & MOTOR CARS. CAUGHT FIRE IN NO. 1 HOLD. VESSEL WAS BEACHED OFF CAP CEPET OWING TO RISK OF EXPLOSION. VESSEL FINALLY SANK, AFTER BURNING FOR FIVE DAYS. (LLOYDS VOL.205).
