PASSAGE SHORHAM FOR SOUTHAMPTON. SANK WHILE UNDER TOW BY S TUG SECURITY. HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN ATTACKED BY ENEMY AIRCRAFT ON 17.5.41 OFF SHOREHAM AND WAS BEACHED NEAR SHOREHAM IN SINKING CONDITION.
