BUILT IN 1893. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY ANGLO-AMERICAN OIL CO. PASSAGE BARROW FOR NEW YORK. STRUCK RUSSELLS ROCK, ON THE MAIDENS. FLARES WERE FIRED ONE OF WHICH FELL BACK ON SHIP STARTING A FIRE, A HUGE EXPLOSION FOLLOWED AND VESSEL SLID OFF ROCKS. 2 LIVES LOST. (DODS, SHIPWRECKS OF THE ULSTER COAST)
