Simplified Wreck Survey

Historic wooden shipwreck remains located on the western coast of Swan Island in the Falkland Islands at coordinates 51 47.81 S, 59 37.92 W. Originally reported by HMS Endurance in 1974 as the remains of a wooden ship above the high water line, subsequent surveys by HMS Protector in 1984 and HMS Herald in 1986 noted only scattered pieces of wood before the site was officially classified as dead and deleted from active records.
